We created Senior Class 50+ - uniq English language program for older Ukrainian immigrants who are starting over in an English-speaking country and looking for opportunities to learn, reaching out to the community and share their professional and life experiences in a new society.

This language project is dedicated to support and honor the generation that spent their entire lives building independent Ukraine: working, developing the economy, raising future generations, and creating resources so that we all could move forward.
The war has taken away all what they built so hard, together with their sense of belonging in society. But it has not taken away their dignity or their valuable experience.
With AURA, Ukrainian seniors have the opportunity to learn English from the very beginning (A1–A2 levels) without fear or embarrassment.
They study in small groups, at their own pace, online, with native English-speaking American teachers.
Our goal is to make the learning journey easier, reduce stress, and help them integrate more smoothly while building a strong sense of belonging and confidence.

This project is not only about learning a language. It is about belonging.
It is a space where Ukrainians — far from home, often starting life from zero — find friendship, understanding, and the kind of support that is so rare in migration. Support from people who walk in the same shoes, face the same fears, and carry the same hopes.
Here, participants rediscover the strength to move forward, to keep learning, and to believe in themselves again. They realize that growth is possible at any age — especially when you are surrounded by care, connection, and a community that holds you up.
Senior class 50+ runs entirely on contribution, because we understand that many seniors simply cannot afford to pay the full cost of education.
Any financial support makes this program possible — it helps Ukrainian seniors gain confidence, improve their communication skills, and move toward greater financial independence, while also ensuring fair and stable pay for our American teachers.

Ця програма розроблена для дорослих, які тільки починають свій шлях з англійською мовою. Завдяки заняттям у невеликих групах із сертифікованими викладачами англійської як другої мови ми зосереджуємося на формуванні необхідного словникового запасу, базової граматики та комунікативних навичок, необхідних для повсякденного життя в США.
